Assuring the quality of education at UiB
The university has established a quality assurance system in order to maintain and develop the quality of studies so that the results can be used in further planning work.
U iB will seek to
a) contribute to make certain that the annual report on educational attainments provides a total analysis of goal achievement in quality work, and, through a complete evaluation of the instruction and educational programmes offered, provide the basis for future prioritising and resource allocation at the institution
b) prepare regular evaluations of programmes and courses in order to identify how the quality of studies can be improved and developed
c) through the University's central divisions and faculties, ensure that material and non-material education support systems are regularly evaluated and improved
d) conduct student evaluations at course level as an important element of the continuous evaluation process
e) carry out student satisfaction surveys every second year to obtain better insight into which aspects of the institution's total learning environment should be improved
